OUR STORY

The official website of the Barbados Alzheimer's Association was relaunched on November 2020.

The overarching goal is to connect those affected by Alzheimer's with the necessary information and support.

The site serves as an extended support system, strengthening the support network to allow families and friends everywhere to draw strength and comfort from each other.  

Additionally, you can join us in the fight against Alzheimer's, in All About Support.

This site is a new avenue to increase awareness, by spreading the word about Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia and influencing change beyond the borders of Barbados. About Barbados and the Regional Perspective are therefore intended to improve the flow of knowledge to and beyond the shores of Barbados.

A special note has to be given to Ms. Carissa Nicholls who donated her time and her "web development" skills to this cause.

This helped the Barbados Alzheimer's Association to increase awareness of Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia.
